Unit
10 Blog Entry
As I look back on my unit 3
personal assessment, I scored myself an 8 in all three areas (psychological,
physical, and spiritual well-being).
Currently, I would still say that all these areas are still an 8. My answers have not changed because a lot has
been going on that I was unable to focus to improve my score.
2)
Review the goals and activities you set for
yourself in each area. Have you made progress toward the goals? Explain.
I have made some progress
toward my goals, but not nearly what I would have liked to. I have sort of been able to work out on a
daily basis when I have the time. I have
been working really hard toward going to church every week and /or prayer every
day. I have done better on relaxing my
mind doing medication each day.
3)
Have you implemented the activities you chose
for your well-being in each of the three areas? Explain.
I have implemented the
activities in each of the three areas, but not to the extent that I would have
liked. Time has been a factor and some
things have come up that I was unable to do what I really wanted.
4)
Summarize your personal experience throughout
this course. Have you developed improved well-being? What has been rewarding?
What has been difficult? How will this experience improve your ability to
assist others?
I have really gained a good
sense of myself and what I need to do in order to accomplish my goals. My overall well-being has developed and
improved in all areas. It has been rewarding
to know that my mind is capable of many things that I didn’t even know was
possible. It has been difficult to stick
to my goals with so much going on lately.
This experience will improve my ability to assist others because I will
have my own personal experience that I can bring to the table with me along
with introducing them to meditation.

Review your unit 3 personal assessment of
your psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being. Reflect on these areas.
How did you score yourself on a scale from 1 to 10 in unit 3? How do you score
yourself now? Has the score changed? Why or why not?

Hello Danielle,
ReplyDeleteI really love your post and I believe you will do well in al genres of integral health. I especially liked your goal assessment for spiritual "believing in yourself", that's goal for me as well.
I wish you the best :-)
Hello Danielle,
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed your posting. I can truly relate. This is my graduating year and this is my last two classes. It is hard for me to keep maintaining a regular routine because there is always something comes up that I have to do because I have put off the things I needed to do last month because I my capstone finals.
I did put in writing what I need to do to successfully complete my goals of enjoying my life by living well. Once I finished with all my classes and all my assignments at Kaplan I look forward applying all that I have learn from this class to be a part of my life forever….dorothy
Danielle,
ReplyDeleteI too have had a rough month and have not been able to find the time to do mediations for myself. We are a work in progress and there will be months that things just don't get done the way we want them to. Forgiving ourselves for the lapse, learning from what ever made us change and then going back to our schedule will help us grow. Good luck and see you some of the other classes coming up.

Hi Danielle,
ReplyDeleteI really do enjoy reading your post and it was a pleasure in meeting you and the rest of the class. I too didn't change anything but have worked harder on my goals and I am one step forward each day. I just applied to the CUNY system here in NY so I am hoping to start soon to get these labs going for my entry to the Physician Assistant Program. I wish you all the best and I hope you are able to get through to finish your goal. Yes, indeed this was a very interest and valuable learning experience for us and we should thank the Professor. One love.

Hello Danielle. It was nice to read your post and to learn more about your reflections on this course. I am sorry that you had a lot going on and did not feel as if your scores had changed in each area. I have found that the meditation techniques learned in this course really helped me to unwind at the end of the day and to really reflect upon my day, especially if it was a very stressful one. I wish you luck in your goals!
ReplyDeleteHi, Danille.
ReplyDeleteYour honesty in this post is truly a testament to the kind of person you are! Making some strides is always better than none at all. You have a good sense of where you need to go and you will accomplish everything you seek! You obviously believe you can and will achieve and I believe in you as well. Beside meditation, try visualizing yourself to be where you want to be...a little at a time. You will be there before you know it!
Good luck...peace and kindess.
